Lamentations 3:19

19 Remember my impoverished and homeless condition,

which is a bitter poison.

Drive me down to the valley ... I hate to fall and tumble

I am not so young anymore and I am tired of rolling down

Once I was a youth I think and way too far from humble

Life appeared more like a vapor as I sought myself a crown

Now I suppose to know the better ... bald and grey on head

A sign of understanding in the eyes of the slow and simple

But my actions speak louder as I seem formed by a mindset

That seems to guide and direct me in the reality I mishandle
