The last thing I told you was goodbye

I never really wanted to leave you

You were always by my side

So many times I wanted to say I love you

Until you changed and pulled away

So I never said I love you

But instaid I said goodbye

I never thought you could fall so far

Into that void of madening revenge

I watched your fall and tried to catch you

But you slipped right through my grasp

And as you fell deeper still,

Pulling us with you

And me, unable to save them or you

I finally told you goodbye

But I should have realized you would never truly let me go

In my naivety, I thought my new friends and I safe

But you did come back and you destroyed everything

I will not make that mistake again

Come find me now

This was my third attempt at this. If anyone would like to see the previous two attempts just comment. By the way, sorry for any spelling and punctuation errors.
