The Actions of Others

The actions of others,

From little brothers to older mothers,

Inspire me beyond all else.

Those actions that,

Without looking back,

Help all of those around us thrive.

The kindness in the eyes of others,

As they help each one and another,

To rise out of the ashes black,

From lives of hate to getting on the right track,

Back to life as they once had,

No longer dead,

No longer bad.

You ask what inspires me most?

I'll tell you now,

I do not boast.

The thing that inspires me,

The thing that I admire,

The thing I aspire to do,

Is the kindest acts of others,

From little brothers to older mothers.
