Active Dream
He takes a breath and then it's gone,
That one swift vapor of life is done.
A valiant soldier out on the front,
Fighting for freedom was all he could want.
Stand for the helpless and defend the same,
Join hands with all in Jesus' name.
He fought for his children, and for your children too.
Hoping some day the only colors would be red, white and blue.
Looking back and listening to those famous words ring,
Let us put down the hatred and join in the dream.
