Adagio White

His silhouette shone bright against the trees As he stood high on the hill Lovingly watching over gentleness as it slept Divine light in his eyes, Cool warmth of stars in his smile. Hesitant, he returned to unavoidable darkness. But there wasn't a soul on Earth Who could resist the sunshine of his presence. Upon meeting, he could change a heart forever; From the inside out he could transform anyone. The natural harmony that followed him Almost forced expressions of joy and pleasure upon each face. His atmosphere was musical As he devoted his life to serving. Approaching the end of his life, He reflected with satisfaction He could rest eternally peaceful Knowing his industrious work had enveloped him And he had achieved his goal: He had made the world a better place One smile at a time.
