Adam and Eve
Eve looked around her at the animals many, today had been a bad day if any could be called such. She and Adam didn’t agree and she knew the reason.
‘he’s not like me’ she thought. God made male and female, two of a kind, and she couldn’t see what had crossed his mind to do this when it created such feelings amiss.
Eve took God aside and in wonder began asking God why.
“why did you make earth and sky to keep two of every kind? Why did you make me and this guy?”
God said “Eve, look how his eyes shine, his lips smile thoughtful like mine. Don’t you think it’s good I made two of each kind?”
Eve didn’t reply still in pain from the memory in her head. “I don’t like he disagrees with everything” she finally said “he tells me I’m wrong and I don’t know what to do”
“but Eve” God smiled “that’s because he loves you”
Eve relaxed in a minuet and looked at the man. He felt her gaze and held out his hand. After slowly he came over Eve smiled and let him hold her hand in his.
God was right. Adam loved Eve so he kept her safe and Eve loved Adam so she listened without further complaint.
