Adaptation

The cigarette with closed eyes stays silent being crushed into the ground

Glowing red embers turning reluctantly to ash

She has no cravings, only seeking a truth of things.

She maintains her quiet composure in solitude

Here nothing exists; no Karma

She is perfect without belief

No one can cage her spirit

The Sun keeps her warm

The Moon remembers her tears

Being alone used to tear her apart she thought

Being alone made her lose her sense of peace

Then she realized what she really was

Thinking of the past she smiles

A flower to the stars
