Addicted


You know it’s wrong once you’ve done it

All up until you do it again.

Your mind - your heart - your spirit doesn’t want it,

 

But your body does.

 

Fifteen seconds to lapse is all it takes

And then your spirit dies.

You cry the first time, maybe the second too

And carry the nothing,

Until someone comes

and picks you up,

So you can fall again.
