A substance that poisons the veins

It leaves the soul empty and filled with substained misery

It kills the inner happiness that once was there

Bringing to the surface a stranger that noone knows

Anger, pain, and depression is exposed

Leaving everyone they've ever loved alone

Sitting in the corner of the room crying and begging to be spared to soon

The mind echoes have some more

It'll only heal you but silently kill you

The addiction and lonliness is withhold

Through my life I've chosen to take the dark road

Beating my head up against the door

Blood drips from my opened soars

My eyes droop from insomnia

My heart aches from my so called amazing life

Day by day time waists away

Death creeps up slowly waiting to be let in
