Addiction

(poems go here)You took my hand

And you held it so

So close I didn’t see

I didn’t see the real me

You took my hand

And you took me in

Into the forest

Into the wind

You held my hand

You held it so dear

That I was blinded by love

By the beauty of your face

But it was there when you looked away

I saw you

I saw the hate

You had my hand

You held it so tight

But I saw you and I tried to fight

I pulled away at your unsightly grace

I tried to walk closer to heavens gate

But you had my hand

You wouldn’t let go

Not until you had me

Body and soul
