Addiction

I am alive

Spewing the ability to strive

I can take on the sky with no shute

Scream to the heavens and still be mute

I have a source of power

Brings me to the edge of a tower

I bear no fear

I am alive

.............

Am I alive?

My head pounds, no sounds.

Life for me is gone,

Eventhough my heart beats on.

My source of power

Brings me to the edge of a tower.

I leave this world with fear,

An everlasting loneliness....

Goodbye fellows I used to know.

I'm off to a place where all abusers go.
