The Addiction

I knew someone with an addiction.

It was a horrible conviction.

He came in black and white color.

I still love him, he is my brother.

From fighting to almost losing you.

My heart couldn’t help but break in two.

Every single day is a battle.

I’m so sorry I had to tattle.

Just trying to mask your depression.

You would tell me all your confessions.

It started with you smoking a joint.

Were you exasperating a point?

When we were young, you were my idol.

Our relationship now is a tidal.

I hope you get over this soon.

I swear, I’ll always love you to the moon.
