Addiction
Take your hand,
look on the inside.
All that you can control is the size of your palm.
Take that fist and hit the damn wall,
the only thing you break is the bones of your own soul.
Take your head and bang it against the wall,
nothing will get through until you hear the small voice inside of you.
Your eyes catch the swift motion of life, while your mind tells you lies.
Are you having a break through or just enough?
Skin crawls and cold shakes,
your mind is a fuzzy bomb about to blow up all over the place.
That's what happens when you let addiction take
God's
Place.
