Addiction...... How does one describe what addiction is?

Well the way I see it.

Addiction isn't something that you can just get over,

You can learn to control the temptation,

But it's always going to be inside you,

Eating away at you.

You're still going to have those voices telling you to just pop that pill again,

Just snort that line,

Hit that pipe.

Most people won't understand that addiction is a disease,

It's not something that's just going to go away,

I would know......

I was an addict,

And it ruined my life.

If you just beat the temptations than you can turn your life around.
