Addiction

Sat, 04/09/2016 - 02:56 -- rexiusm

we all have one.

drugs, alcohol, sex....but what about sugar?

that need for the latest energy drink and candy bar,

eating an apple to wean yourself off of it

I try to go on a diet, eat more but less

but the sugar makes it worse, and harder

harder to keep off the extra 15 pounds i dont need to be healthy

not beautiful, healthy, cause im already beautiful

but healthy is hard to be when companies cram

the latest caramel pitachio stuffed chocolate bar into your hand

just so they can take the money you dont need to spend on it

chicken, fish, milk, eggs

those are the things we need to buy

but sugar draws us in saying "just one bite"

but then it doesnt stop, you crave it

its my addiction, but there is no therapy classes for me

weight loss is not the same as sugar highs

you can be skinny and addicted, short and addicted.

addiction doesnt discriminate between us.
