Addiction

Ten minutes in I scare
Twenty minutes to God I pray
Thirty I'm up and moving
Forty I'm on the floor wanting
I need my escape
Drugs to lift me high
Alcohol to kill my brain
Blood to numb the pain
Purge to throw it away
Sex to feel the love
One or two
Pick and choose
Maybe all apply to you
Dead end girl
Dead end world
I know we've turned you cold
We as in the world
Unattainable happiness
Truly numb society
Hustle and bustle of every day kind
I know it's hard but take a breath
Risk it all
Escape your hole
Find the light.
