Addiction

My friends, it’s not typical of myself to talk about an issue of this magnitude, but in not doing so, I do not voice my opinion. Through not voicing my opinion, you lose relevant meaning in understanding the manner in which I think. You have asked me what I think about addition. As it’s defined, addiction is the fact or conditions of being addicted to a particular substance, thing, or activity. This issue of concern can come in many shapes, sizes and decrees of significance, and as you’ve asked, this is the way I think about addiction:

If when you say addiction you mean the destructive substances like alcohols and drugs that ruins homes, relationship with friends and families, and that cause an adjustment within an individual’s outlook on life, giving them no worry in the world and causing their body to deteriorate from the inside and out, the substances, which may contribute to our global economy, also contribute to several issues like depression, child abuse, and death; if when you say addiction and you relate it to sex, the uses of someone’s body, to where no restrain is given, and only negative outcomes take place: like sexually transmitted disease (STDs) and numerous children which cannot be taken care of, leading them(the children) to social services, foster homes, even abortion, than I’m certainly against it.

If when you say addiction and relate it to positive influences: education, proper food consumption, and daily exercise, the activities than help your body in more than one manner, improving how the world is seen, and building a body that can feel good equally in mind, spirit and appearance, construction a well rounded individual, that is very knowledgeable toward many subject matters, and healthy in the way they think; if when you say addiction and mean an addict looking deeply at their life, seeing it for all they have done wrong, and all their misconceptions, wanting to become an improved person, facing a possible near death experience to transform their life to something applicable to them, living life in recovery, with support from family and friends, they will grow and rebuild what they have ruined, in this case, I am certainly for it.

This is my stand and I will not stand down from my beliefs.
