Addiction Is A Virtue

I can stop at any time,

I don’t need it.

I just want it.

The needles, the pills…

The crystal, the shrooms…

The dust, the dragon…

My tabs, my acid…

My herbs and my rock…

I like the warmth,

The comfort.

It’s beautiful, you see.

They’re fulfilling.

Look at my pupils,

How large and lovely.

These pricks on my skin?

They’re fine.

I bet I can out smoke you.

My bills?

They’ll get paid.

Addicted?

 No.

I can stop at any time.

(That time just isn’t now.)
