addiction vs. love
i crave the taste of you
hate the pain of you
love the touch of you
dislike the sin of you
wish i had more of you
can't stand the sight of you
need the beauty of you
hate that i can't breath without you
why so much temptation
your so sweet and kind
loving and caring
but yet bring so much destruction
i need to leave you
but can't seem to bring myself to
you're like a hopeless addiction
like a broken piece of glass
you can be so beautiful
but yet the slightest touch of you
can hurt me so much
i finally left
now have someone new
their so much better
i never knew what it was met to feel like to be loved
they bring me joy and happiness
not just pleasure
they make me feel good about me
i always want to be around them
you brought me down and they bring me up
i suffered with you
now i know no pain
i hated the sight of you
but now i never want to leave their side
i don't feel like its sin
i feel like it's beauty
they have more than looks they have just the same beauty inside
they don't pretend to care
they really do
they make sure i come first over them
it's not just a crave with them
it's a constant need
i thought i couldn't breathe without you
but i can't live without them
they help me stand on my own
while you made me need you
i never knew that it was meant to be like this
but now i'd do
no pain just love and pure affection.
