Addictions causing frictions up in

Addictions causing frictions up in my soul

Walk back out where you came from through the front door

Or the first time in my lifetime I say no more

All those times I was lost and found

When I was locked and kept underground

I know I said I would come around

I meant to do but the lights were down

But they’re back up now

Oh are they now?

Oh yes they are

Keeping liberation and separation apart

Causing contradicting formations of hearts

“Try hard and try harder

Go hard in the cold weather”

In need of warmth I created a roof

Because the truth was being made aloof

I hope you see with my eyes one day

I know you’ll try one day
