Addy's All

I just vomited up a glass of water and an apple It splattered onto cold white ceramic A marble floor in Michelangelo's hidden work -A cathedral to display to the heavens: the legacy of the blue pills I'd swallowed twenty hours previously- Suddenly, I wasn't so hot I was able to banish my socks, Scorn my flannel pajama pants in all their plaided glory! Vanquish! my horridly mustard tights And indeed, stand cool and revived Barefoot in my templed stall In a sundress, in December I smoked two bowls of pot And found the tunnels of my vision Lined in technicolor! Kaleidoscopic! So digital, two fifty six ah gee bee cullah Static, separate from this world Really static, buzzing and distorting and tickling Tickling eyes, tickling ears, then ringing, ringing, Sky is navy, nice pair of jeans Still ringing, droning, buzzing, screeching, Sky is lavender and like white paint whoosh And no ringing, just waves Sea foam, sleep soon But alas, a score of minutes and seven hours Had passed since Thursday began, And I was expected at work in forty minutes
