ADHD
The poems of my messy mind
Constructed of messy messy
Tangents
Thoughts swirling out of place
Trying to align
But
Rhyme
A pattern I need not worry for
Yet am I missing another line
This is the case every time
Stubborn pencil of every line
It sounds as though it is the time
To stop…
Regroup
Of where did I last leave my thought
Hesitant sense of what's to come
Hiding behind my messy mind.
Never are these works completed
For each distraction starts another
Thought.
Because there is no work here done,
And no songs of mine here to be sung
