Adolescence
Memories,
uncanny images have landed from the past.
Who am I?
the scars on my heart,
the fortitude of an elder,
the youth of my skin,
or the hope of a child?
Maybe, if I am ever seen,
I won't ever know.
Who I am.
If I wonder,
if I ask others,
if I beg the clouds for a response.
I won't know.
Memories,
come and dance with me,
I don't like to party,
but I crave for silence and
a gulp from the sea.
Learning,
come, and wait, and see.
Just you have come to see the good in me.
Experience,
you define me.
You remind me of my roots.
The child that I was for a moment,
I am always gonna be.
But this era of nonconformity
is transient.
It will be memory,
learning, and yearning.
An experience
with a story.
Oh! Memories,
with scars, youth,
fortitude and
down-to-earth reminders.
Don't fly too far away...
from reality.
