I've thought of you for so long

that you became a given

Now that I'm trying to make you a reality

I'm scared

What if you were never mine

and I have to be ok with the fact

that I will never feel you within me

I'm excited about the tiny grips and uncomprehensible noises

but I all I want is to see you become you

and if that's not from my blood

You'll still always have my heart
