Adorable II

Broken she looked,

As she sat on those stairs.

Once a halfway point-

But it just could no longer be there.

Trying to find peace,

I just had to set her free,

as something about her-

Came dawning on me.

I must avoid care,

As it simply can not exist.

My own mother could not express it-

So why oh why,

Can the girl on the stairs not resist?
