Adoration

the soft cheeks blush
with gushing rivers,
inside all the shells
are the whispers of memory,
i see Your hands unfold
like a curtain letting in the morning light
the sky a cherry blossom color,
the prayers swim like silvery minnows.

inside the funnels of shells,
i hear the waves break,
and Your voice is my tune,
my heart like a marigold embraces each time spent
near open mountains full of willow swings,
before i close my eyes each night in adoration,
i think of all the things i could be,
but You are already my everything.
