Adrianna

A 16 year old girl, innocently dancing to the music of love

BLANK

She awakes to feel her body ache

Finds herself at the graveyard of her seed and they tell her that she should have protected it, she shouldn't have used fertiliser on her soil

But little do they know that you don't have a voice when you're blood poisoned

Don't they know that her womb weeps a bitter lament, only heard by her?

Don't they know that her walls were ripped apart?

Her knees are bruised

Her tears washed the kitchen floor as she scrubbed away her own blood like a slave

She is a slave

To the torment of watching time go by while she imagines the growth of her unborn, never will be born child

She is a slave to the beauty of her body

Chained by the way her hills hold her dress

Must dress neat and sit up straight with that turtle around her neck

His hands around her neck

So she ain't askin' for it

Oh girl, you ain't wanna be askin' for it

The way she smiles, assumed to be a porthole to her soul, tie

Her glorious hair ties her to the bed posts because she's not going out tonight to invite ghosts

One day, she will escpae to a distant universe where men don't trade false love for her body

One day, she will break free from being a woman

A slave
