The Adult In My Life

In an unfamiliar place --

I remember I am an adult

In conflict --

I remember I am an adult

In crisis --

I remember I am only a child

In triumph --

I remember I am only a child

I weigh my passings in a matter of being.

Does this make me adult?

Does this make me child?

Am I neither?
