Adulting...Maybe, Love...No Way!

One day you're learning your ABCs
and how to count 1 2 3
Next day your paying bills
and figuring out your next meal
growing up kinda sucks
falling in love, wish me luck

There's been a lot to compromise
younger me was never as wise
with all the risk i would take
of not knowing what's at stake
like having to be so open
and show where you're broken

They say communication is key
and the truth will set you free
you have to mean what you say
to live to fight another day
nothing is certain in life
but happy life is a happy wife
