Adventure and...Art?
It is almost finished, my journey will be done with one more line.
How such a creation came to be I do not know
I guess it all started with a sheet of paper,
a paper created from the tree it was cut down from to create,
That was planted nearly centries ago before the Earth started it's algricultural age,
or perhaps this is going too far back.
Regardless of that the paper met my graphite tipped weapon,
and I was ready to attack it with full force
but before I struck I pondered, what was I to create?
I stared at the paper I could feel it's fear and confusion.
What shapes would look good on this particular page?
A square like fiqure would seem too familiar.
A circle? No this must be beyond something that seemed confined and basic.
A car? A boat? No. No. No. A house? An animal?
No this has to be something I had never attempted before
Time was running thin and my thoughts are going numb.
The paper mocks me a coward unable to do what is necessary.
Was it right? Do I lack commitment, and more importantly creativity?
NO! I am not afraid nor do I allow such inanimate objects to mock me.
I stab the paper with my weapon, dragging it down to reach a certain point on the page.
I hear the paper cries in pain, but my hand holds on to it with all it's might.
I must stay in control or I might pierce through the page and that would look too barbaric.
After all I am not a monster, monster...MONSTER!!! That is it!
I shall draw a monster, but what kind?
It does not matter, all that matters is that I have found my objective.
I sketched for hours on creating the creatures shape
A tail, with wings? Yes, yes that would look amazing.
Teeth razor sharp that it could cut the fabric of space and time,
and eyes so red and menecing, that the great greek god hercules would shake in horror.
Such fine work took so much time and effort to create, that it nearly took the head off my weapon.
An hour had passed and it is finally over,
I had won, and now I shall take my creation and conquer.
Conquer what, you ask? why the rest of the sketchbook of course.
With my new creation we will annihilate the rest of this sheets kind,
and the world will fear my name.
