" Adventure to Endless Adoration"

Listening to this beautiful jazz melody
Suddenly it's all beginning to dawn on me
Hoping Always for the Best
This sadness and disappointment I can never seem to place to rest.
It's weighing currently pretty heavy on my chest... (sigh)
Yes! Of course, we are talking about that four letter word that can never be fully defined.
It's so dear to the heart and messes around with the human mind.
The first I thought was so divine.
It was a sweet sugar high.... no one could take me down
Until the music notes slowly faded away and there was no longer any sound.
It went just as fast as it came like the showers of D.C. rain.
Left me soaking wet and pretty chill...Believing what I felt had to be real.
The second took me a while to realize....wow... crazy thing is, it was staring right there in my face.
Like art work, all the colors were perfectly in place
Oh so crystal clear!
How my heart began to beat anytime we were near!!!
So solid and strong.... how much longer will we hold on?
There was only one major thing that was wrong.
I was only the harmony, but not the lyrics to his song.
Knowing my role, hers I could never fill
Hurting and in pain... as if a deep hole had been created in my atmosphere with a drill.
Absolutely nothing I could do with this
Except take it all in and sacrifice what I had for his ultimate bliss.
I'll never forget what I shared with him...this dear and special friend
Even when there was a chance of losing... with us, I always felt like a champion!
So now... I wait... again
For lucky number three
Just maybe... He will be my shining Knight.
Next time, maybe our puzzle pieces will collide and fit just right.
God knows my Heart and Hears my cry.......................................
To be United and Embraced by the Beauty of Genuine Passionate Love... before the day that I die
