The adventure in a skyline

The shadows mask our presence as we sneak down the dreary streets of Boston.

Cars speed by, drunk college students stumble down the sidewalk, and we stay hidden.

We walk onwards against the bitter cold with an objective in our minds.

We prowl against the sides of buildings; down the alley, up the stairs, through the fence, across the ledge.

Our hearts beat as one, the chill of the air replaces by the fire of adventure.

We reach the top, shaking with fear and anticipation, and we look out.

They grays melted into a dance of brilliant colors and lights.

The once dead and dark city springs to life.

We look at each other and our mouths are unable to speak, but our eyes say it all.

The shadows no longer mask out presence as we run down the lively streets of Boston.

My eyes are open, my heart is alive, and I know that this is what I want.
