Adventure Time

When I was a child I loved to play I knew what fun was all about I ruled all that I could see My parents often found me exploring outside because that’s what I loved to do Catching Lizards is what we’d do When my brother and I went to play On the trees outside When we thought we were about to show off what we found and only a tail our parents would see If only mom and dad could see What we loved to do Oh no! We found a snake at play Why was it wandering about In our domain outside I became afraid of the outside I wanted to see the end to the snakes roaming about We didn’t know what to do about the interruption of our play besides destroy the snake we found Maybe the snake we found would hurt us when we head back outside All we wanted was to play Then out of the corner of my eye I see My brother whispers, “What should we do” I reply, “That’s what I’m thinking about” The snake began to move wildly about He knows that he has been found My brother’s eye pop like he knows what to do Then I’m alone with the snake outside My brother runs quickly and I see He has a gun and no time for play The snake’s play was about to end I see my brother shoot at what we found Playing outside what we continued to do
