Adventures in Solitude
Dear past me,
You’re angry and lonely and so fucked, I get it. But don’t leave Mom. She needs you, always has. Dad’s a fuck-up and I know you hate him, but stick around for her. Appreciate that woman before you don’t have anymore time to, you’ll miss her when she’s gone because she was the only one who didn’t make fun of you for crying.
If you do end up leaving, which, honestly, I would understand, don’t save that blonde kid who is about to get shot. He’ll ruin your life. He’ll ruin you for everyone you ever knew and he’s better off dead. Just trust me, okay, bud?
You might want to because you see yourself in him, but he’s poison. He’s a fucking viper and you can do so much better. If there is anything you ever do, don’t walk him home. Don’t get wrapped up in him, please. Please.
And if you meet Michael, Christ, I hope you meet Michael, tell him you want to be with him the fourth time you fuck and marry him. Have kids with him because he would be an even better father than he even you can. And that’s saying a lot. Michael will be the best thing to ever happen to you in your entire life.
Stop drinking so much; that shit will kill you.
Don’t fuck it up.
