Adversity

Our hands will

never break apart

nor will my eyes

leave if you do go

Get on my back

to recharge yourself

without having to

break down

Hand me your

burdens and I

will carry them

throughout the journey

Let your tears

stream down my

shirt; I’ll attempt

to hold mine

These nights get

longer and longer

with sleepless moments

not wanting to come

Every visit comes

to haunt with

words that makes

our hearts dead

I’ll guide you

through this

journey if you

rest your stress

Promise me you

won’t leave at any

time no matter

how weak you become

Stick with me

Hold onto me

Don’t leave me

Call to me

I’ll remember you
