Adversity City

From my birth life has been an adventure Born to parents impoverished The family formula demolished Grandparents disappointedly astonished To see their daughter they had pointedly not missed Her three sons whose existence had been admonished It's something from my mind that has not split. In my adulthood I am desperate Intelligent but afraid to be helpless How sublime the confidence; never to be bested Accepted for college, unable to pay with credit And outward I look, seeking your investment. And so I ask from my heart, I'm no poet but hopefully my impression's impressive. Please save me from this cesspit
