Advice to Self

Wash and iron your cape daily, and be your own hero. Focus on saving yourself before saving others.

Put the magnifying glass down and stop looking for pieces of yourself to love through other people. Instead, stand in the mirror and say you are beautiful like it’s a foreign language you want to master or a song you have on repeat.

Add fuel to the firing drive and passion inside you, and let the fire grow so big that it burns down every doubt and worry you constantly carry around.

Let the flowers inside you grow, watered and colorful, but still learn to love the petals you’ve lost.

Learn how to love yourself before you let any person teach you how to.
