Advocacy for unity, peace and justice

Poetry is my mirror. It reflects the wounds of a divided land, the beauty of survival, and the dream of a people yearning for unity, dignity, and peace. I began writing not as a poet, but as a voice seeking space in a world that often silences the unheard. These verses are born from early mornings of hope and late nights of sorrow. They are shaped by the cries of mothers, the silence of displaced children, and the endurance of a generation forced to carry too much too soon. In South Sudan, we often say "One Nation, One People," but too often, we live as many nations within one border. My poems respond to this contradiction—not with bitterness, but with truth. Through rhythm and raw honesty, I write to awaken empathy, to stir reform, and to remind the reader that every marginalized voice holds power. This collection is not just literature - it is testimony. A testimony of survival, resistance, and the unrelenting belief that tomorrow can be better than today.
