From Afar

Dear X,

In the morning

You are a rare sight to behold

Everytime I see you

My heart flutters

I can't contain my smile

Whenever our eyes meet

I quickly look away

Shyly scuttling away

Whenever I notice you

I sneakily glance

Butterflies fluttering in my stomach

Although I act aloof

I hope we can talk

Hopeful yet uninitiative

I can only dream of our conversations

At night

I yearn to see you again

Walking alone

Pain etches into my heart

Wishing under the moonlight

Unrequited I am
