Affections Unknown
Silent beauty
Fluid grace
Eyes open wide
Head up in space
She speaks of the world
Yet knows so little
And speaks of her pain
emotions brittle
Stuck in a world
Of mischief and fiction
Prattling on about
Her harmful addiction
Her hero is blind
And has sold her soul
She has begun to hate
The world as a whole
A harmless glance
At a girl not there
A longing for a connection
An unlikely pair
Her hope is fading
Her friendship is cursed
And all that us left
Is an unquenchable thirst
