Wait around for a text
To be returned.

My thoughts,
Will not focus on what
I cannot control.

My mind,
Will be at ease
And not panic over small things.

Will be ok
With time’s healing touch.

Be calm and patient
And not take shit from anyone.

I shall,
Be smarter and logical
And more self sufficient.

I will not,
Rely on other people
Or be dictated by my emotions.

Keep these promises to myself
