Affliction
I hate this feeling
My heart beats too fast
My lips shift down
My vision blurs
The world turns black
And I try my hardest
To put these broken pieces together
To match colors that do not blend
And he won't help
He doesn't care if it works
He keeps changing shapes
One minute he loves me
The next he doesn't
He so vague doesn't explain a thing
He's more confusing than an abstract painting
Different colors trying to be interpreted
And the story changes every time
And I can't keep changing
And I don't have to
But that doesn't matter
Because the only reason
My head keeps pounding
And I keep clutching my fists
Is not because of him
I only have my self to blame
Because I keep him in the picture
