afraid

afraid of change, to let go of what's familiar,

afraid of pain, what if it hurts me?

afraid of failure, to expose my flaws,

afraid of being noticed, what if for the wrong reasons?

But the thing I am most afraid of

I must confess

Is having only one chance

and not  taking it
