Maybe I'm afraid

Of what? I don't know

Just the thought of too many thoughts

Too many emotions, too many tears

Too many years of being in pain

I wish it would go away, but without it

Without pain, there would be no lesson

Which leads to the conclusion of something

that something being a point

But there isn't one, is there?

You've just told me that to boost my self esteem

Which all it did was lower it

Maybe if people were genuine

Wouldn't pressure us into things that we don't want to do

Doing something by force, leads to more pain

More mistakes, more consequences, more lectures

But will there be a lesson?

Or are you just trying to boost my self esteem?

Again...

You know, maybe this wouldn't be so bad

If only you told the truth, honesty

You expect me to trust you, yet I feel like you're lying 24/7

Yea, really trustworthy

But after all of this, I do trust you

And love you and care

But maybe

I'm
