Afraid of the Dark

Little ones, afraid of the dark,

know more than we do.

They know secrets are in the dark,

and hidden evils.

We all keep our true selves hidden.

Act like you fit in

and maybe they will believe it.

Maybe you will too.

Bury the truth down deep.

Now put a smile on your face

and pretend you don't see it.

We are all just afraid of the dark.
