To Afraid to Tell You
To Afraid to Tell You
By: Lena Lee
Inspired by: Myself and loving Friends that support me
When I first saw you it made me feel different,
Its been a year now and you are once again in my class but now closer than ever,
I see you in the halls but do you see me? Do I exist to you at all?
No, I probably don't right. Its because I am FAT and have natural curls in my hair right?
At times I want to come up to you and have the courage to tell you that I like you.
But, when I do have courage I do plan to come tell you but then again "I BACK DOWN."
On the last day of eighth grade I wanted to come to you and tell you that I like you very much but I was too AFRAID so I walked away not telling you.
I know that I am a COWARD, but I DON'T have the COURAGE to tell you.
Now we are Freshmen in High School,
I again had some classes with you. But you don't even recognize me or NOTICE ME AT ALL.
Now that you changed your schedule we no longer have any classes together. I was glad but also sad.
But I have learn to know myself, and I now know that I DO NOT NEED YOU.
I still wonder though did I exist to you?
I still remembered what you and your friend talked about,
Friend: "Hey dude you should ask that girl out she is beautiful."
Him: " Her.... (laughs)... she is FAT."
As I herd him say that it broke my heart.
I knew he was talking about me because I was the only girl sitting at the same group with them. and all the other girls he called weird or ugly.
But now I have moved on and I DON'T NEED HIM AT ALL, I AM BEAUTIFUL JUST THE WAY I AM NOW.
I LOVE MYSELF JUST THE WAY I AM NOW, I DO NOT NEED A GUY IN MY LIFE!
