AFRIAD
Its more than time we had that talk, about being afriad on where to stand an where to walk
Afraid on how to stay alive, they took our pride
Thinking on how to live an how to learn
In the back of my mind im thinking if im going to ever return.
Pulled over by the cops i cant reach for my ID
They want my hands where they can see
Flashing the lights they shine so bright
Afraid on answering a question cause it can lead to more than just a fight
keep calm and unfazed
to bypass being shot, choked, or tased.
Afraid I will not see another day
Just keep my head up and continue to pray.
Cops say BLACK LIVES MATTER but how
When our blood is shattered.
We lay there in enternal sleep, still getting beat
Thats how you know talk is cheap
