After

Mommy's counting pennies

I'm counting dimes

And all I'm really thinking

Is that I just want time

To do the things I hoped

To do the things I dreamed

To do the things we wished for

To do the things unseen

I'm always wondering

What I can do

To ease this pain and frustration

To make it up to you

But for now

Mommy's still counting pennies

And I'm still counting dimes

And all I'm really thinking

Is that I just want time
