After the Break

I used to be intolerant to pain
but now
I’m aware
of all the aches in my body
so bare with me
for that I may seem weak
but that’s only the outside
and you must
peer into the opening I give you
and indulge.

From this, I may seem easy
but I just want someone
loyal
genuine
trusting
to lie next to
and talk to me.
