After Everything

Is it wrong

For me to be happy

For how you felt

After everything?

I mean,

We’ve been together

For so long

Was it a spur of the moment

Got caught in the heat

Lost your best friend

So you took it out on me

After everything,

Is this really

How you want it to end

Ending in tears

Full of regret

Staying just as friends
